“Please enter a correct key license”
“Please enter a correct key license” is a first message that is seen after installing Astratic theme (if you are looking for installation guide, go here). Because of different levels of technical knowledge our customers, we created a few possible solutions when you have problems with activating Astratic key license.
Check if WordPress is updated to required version (minimum 5.5.)
It is super-important! Our theme works its best with WordPress in 5.5. version. Check if WordPress on your website fulfills this requirement. If not, it could be possible obstacle while activating Astratic key license.
- go to WordPress admin panel > Dashboard > Updates
- update your WordPress version (everything runs automatically)
- if you have entering your key license earlier (before updating WordPress version) and it is still an error, follow a “restart” procedure:
- put the wrong text in the key license box,
- save changes
- put the right text (copied from an e-mail we send you after purchase)
- save changes.

Check if you copied the right text
Sometimes when we use copy & paste, something may be missing. Or over-copied. Yes, we do it too! Please, check if you have copied the right string of characters (without spaces, dots, etc.). If you rewrites it manually, please note that O (letter) and 0 (zero); I (capital “i”) and l (lower “L”) may look similar. Just try a different option 😉
“Your Astratic key license has expired”
“Your key license has expired” is a message that displays after one year (theme updates included in price are prepared for one year) or when you put a key license code too many times.
- Again, the simplest solution is a “restart” procedure:
- put the wrong text in the key license box,
- save changes
- put the right text (copied from an e-mail we send you after purchase)
- save changes.
